Message	many years ago and have never had any issues with them. I did the homemade cable from Zcontrol originally. I didn't have any issues with it, just liked the idea of a nicer and less apt to breaking system in place. The Zcontrol homebrew needed a Serial adapter in addition to everything else. Just wasn't aesthetically pleasing.
