Message Quick run down of an Eddy Current vs Inertial style dyno

Eddy Current dyno's apply the same consistent load throughout the entire rpm range, via an Eddie brake.

Inertial style dyno's have a fixed weight of the roller. Everyone learned in Physics 101 that an object in motions stays in motion, this means the roller is easier to turn as the rpms go up.

As you can see this is how and why you can't compare these two dyno readings
