Message	yep, I agree, too much heat will also destroy any heat treat that was done to the hub carrier if you get too carried away. I was just getting it hot enough that it would sizzle if I spit on it (technical I know)...I was careful that I not get it too hot. I was using a MAP gas torch with the standard tip.
