the OEM Z32 wiring and will not overload the factory fog light harness or components. However, if you install higher than 55w H3 bulbs (PIAA, Raybrig, and so forth), then you will run into issues. There have been many people over the years who have done this mod with absolutely no issues. I have personally run this setup for over 10 years and have converted many of my friends and family members' Z32's without ANY issues. The ONLY complaint I have received after doing both the 55w upgrade and knocking out the Fog Light Shield is that they have on coming drivers flashing their "high beams". Prior to the Z1 Motorsports 55w Fog Light conversion plugs, owners were left with a few options for a fog light bulb replacement: A) Stick to the 35w OEM Nissan bulbs...which are not available through most auto parts stores if I recall correctly. B) Cut off the pig tail and convert to the other spade type on either their Fog Light Harness or brand New Fog Light bulbs. C) Fashion their own type of conversion harness. Most people are not comfortable with doing electrical work on their vehicles or do not have the tools to do so. The Z1 55w conversion plugs are a simple "plug'n'play" process that does not increase the length of the harness considerably within the fog light housing.
