Message The way it does work is savvy buyers make educated decisions based on research that really doesn't take much time at all to determine. A quick eBay and autotrader scan yields plenty of available z32s, let alone the enthusiast forum classifieds.

Apart from that aspect, the z32 is fun but expensive to maintain; the opportunity costs are many. Purchasing one for $8500 doesn't mean that you won't have to spend twice that to keep it safely on the road in the first year. It seems like even many of the strongest enthusiasts here don't even have running Zs right now. So anybody in the market for a zed who has done their research has to keep in mind that they could have a much newer car with much fewer headaches that has similar performance for a similar price.

Our minor forum speculation of value holds no real bearing on the value of a zed; it has solely to do with opportunity costs.

Cheers,
JBrobst
