Message ran a seperate power wire to a 12v source and I ran the ground to the factory harness / plug . The Ash Spec FPC and OEM FPC controls voltage by manipulating the ground wire.

Specialty Z is correct - The OEM wiring cannot support full voltage on 2 pumps. My first install I melted the power wire to the second pump as well ( external to the bulkhead ). The FPC was fine.

I can't remember exactly how I have mine wired up but I can check my Z if needed.

The walbro pumps actually pull one of the lower amounts of volts as compared to other fuel pump setups on the market.

Another "side effect" that most don't speak about as it pertains to 2 fuel pumps are the power they pull in general. I have found that if you have a weak battery and run 2 fuel pumps, you will have idle issues when you run the A/C / bigass stereo / turn signal / while stopped because the alternator can't keep up and the ecu doesn't get the minimum juice needed. Because the ECU is not receiving enough charge, the FPC doesn't get what it needs to drive 2 fuel pumps which results in low fuel pressure at idle which makes the car idle rough.

I proved by toggling / cycling my pumps off and on 1 at a time ( I have switches to kill / check each pump ). When I did this the issue went away / fuel pressure increase (dropped with 2 pumps on) and when I replaced the battery I never had another rough idle issue at idle with all the accessories on.
