Message	Without seeing the damage I would try a small area with swirl remover, a good wool pad and a car polisher at around 2000 rpm's. If that wont take the damage away then I would try a very light rubbing compound BUT only if you have expirence with cutting and with a polisher (well... I guess its already damaged so go at it!)
