Subject	so how to repair my paint

Message	long story short, my wife was prepping her car for paint, after sanding/wet sanding, she used my mitt and bucket to wash all of the crap off of her car and didn't rinse the crap out. Well without my knowledge of this I washed my car and for lack of a better term, wet sanded my car. I know buffing is my solution but what steps with what compounds should I use? It isn't too bad except for the hood. Worse case scenario she will be painting my car after hers, but I'd rather not have to do that. Yet.
