Message 4 post can be moved anytime. I does not require being bolted down. I wanted the flexibility plus I could install right away without having to notch or raise ceiling height.

2post are nicer for suspension etc but I do have 4 tall jack stands that I let the car/lift down on to let wheels hang to do suspension.. Plus this lift is better for double stacking cars in a smaller garage. When I build my full shop I will have both 2 post and 4 post
