I thought they might pass through when I shot the face of them. I was really impressed when it went through the width of the intercooler. Going off of the size of the exit holes, it looks like the bullet retained a lot of its weight on the way out as well. The fact that there is so much cooling surface inside those intercoolers is equally as impressive as the fact that you can drive a bullet all the way through it.
For comparison, I shot the same intercoolers with a sig 556 with various types of ammo (A LOT) and didnt notice any of those rounds going clean through.
