Message Honestly I am not nitpicking, but I just don't see how cleanliness of the reassembled unit will have an effect on the air humidity that gets sealed into the headlight. It seems the weather/humidity in one's garage on the day of sealing them back up would be the main, if not sole, factor.....unless you had some sort of climate/humidity controlled room you used in your home.

If these headlights were going to be yours to stay on your car this winter, then could you keep us updated? It would be really useful for any of us who would consider trying to modify our headlights to see if it is necessary to take additional measures against fogging/condensation or if the stuff that Bernie refers to already being in the assembly is sufficient to just leave in there.

Oh and see what the ambient humidiy was where you live yesterday or whenever you sealed them back up, just for reference.

I really convinced myself that the jspec units are the way to go after my current cheapo HIDs finally burn out. But if this can be tried for relatively cheap, and I imagine these projectors are getting cheaper and cheaper as time goes on, then it is certainly worth a giving a shot, but I would hate to put in all the effort and then find out I have to go back and take steps for fogging prevention later. It really is a nuisance to remove these headlights.
