Subject	climate control and blower speed adjustments?

Message	If I manually adjust the blower speed via the pod push button while the cc is engaged sometimes the blower speed increments and sometimes it decrements. Normally, under all other conditions I have tried, the blower speed always increments with each button push. So why does the switch act this way? and is there a way to predict which direction the speed will go when I hit the button? side note, I expected the auto cc indicator to extinguish when the blower is manually adjusted but it stays illuminated.
