Message The ways to reduce back pressure would be a larger exhaust housing on the turbine. Reduced back pressure = more flow on the intake side = reduction of pressure on the intake side. A larger exhaust housing also reduces exhaust gas velocity which will decrease the compressor wheel speed, and decrease the amount of air the turbo is supplying at lower rpm's.
