Message might be of use to someone. Here are a few.

Things I've done between yesterday and the day before.

Removed exhaust.
Removed heat shield.
Disconnected transmission linkage.
Removed transmission cooling lines (auto).
Removed radiator.
Removed fan.
Removed fan clutch.
Removed crank pulley bolt.
Removed AC compressor.
Removed altenator.
Removed PS pump.
Removed HICAS solenoid.
Removed headlights.
Removed all turbo inlet and outlet pipes.
Removed steering knuckle.
Removed emission canister and lines.
Removed rear water hoses.
Removed transmission, battery and altenator harness secure points.

Just need to drop the transmission and I think it's ready to pull. I know someone will probably say something about my jackstand points :) I've never had a problem with those locations and it's probably because the top of my jackstands have a deep dip in the middle which go around the sway bar bushings. The lip along the edges of the bushing brackets are outside of the jackstand head and help keep the jackstand centered. The bushing brackets bolt to the frame and that's where the jackstands support the car. Having the jackstands up front like that is great for allowing plenty of room to roll around under the car on a creeper. I put the rear jackstands at the same locations in back. I only advise putting the jackstands at those locations if your jackstand head has a deep dip in the middle of the head like mine. Otherwise they may crush the swaybar brackets.
