It doesnt make sense to run smaller downpipes with bigger catback... You want the larger diameter right after the turbo for efficiency. Sorry to break it to you, but to get higher horsepower you're gonna have to spent $$. No way around that. In this context, your claims that you're "stuck" with something is contradictory to your statement that you want higher horsepower. Btw, the "rubber hose w the MAF-sized hole" is probably the factory part.
