Hey all, been a long time lurker, for some reason never signed up. Little bit about me, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Moving to Denver, Co at end of September. 32, Married, work as a courier dispatcher/process server.Been working on cars since I was 15, rebuilding my first engine at 15 of course with the help of my father. I love working on vehicles, just as a hobby. Was certified in Diesel Mechanics, just hate working in shop environment. Enjoy it way too much as a hobby. Ok, enough about me, lets get to the reason most of you are reading. I have a 92 2+2 auto. I bought the car for relatively cheap. Engine was strong but needed a lot of work. After getting all driveable, enjoyed it for a good year. I eventually got an itch for more power and a 5 speed. So I looked into either a VH45 swap or TT swap. I ended up going with a TT/5 speed swap. I got a great deal on a complete swap for 1500 engine, ecu, piping, intercoolers, 5 speed, drive shaft, new clutch, pretty much everything to do the swap. The original engine had auto turbos, and didnt look the best so I found someone selling a set of manual turbos for a good price with very little shaft play. The intercoolers ended up having a horrible leak in them, so had to get a new set. I ended up going with the Godspeed(yeah I know, most of you wouldn't run them) SMIC. I have put close to 3k miles on them, zero issues. Yes, they are PIA to install, but have them in with the corner lights on. Anyway, the only mods I have is larger intercoolers, single pop charger, EBC, tuned ECU on the car and running 10psi. This car is so much fun and stupid fast. This is with the NA rear diff. I do have downpipes, test pipes, H pipe all 2.5", one piece driveshaft, hopefully will install them soon. I have deleted egr, aiv, CC, pvr, plenum coolant, pretty much all the basic deletes. I don't have a lot of pics of the car, I do need some paint so not thrilled about the outside of the car. Body is relatively straight, interior is clean. As soon as I figure out how to put pics on here I will get some engine shots and front of the car shots. Maybe tonight will get some body shots.
