It's the fact that LeMans prototypes have been essentially the same for years and finally someone is thinking out of the box. Much like Chapman did years ago. The heartwrenching part to me isn't the fact that it was taken out, but seeing the emotions of the team members. If teams would break the mold and actually get out there and make prototypes rather than a revision of last years, technology in motorsports, and eventually road cars, would advance by leaps and bounds.
