| I currently run a 280mm Momo Steering wheel in order for my left knee to clear the steering wheel when I release the clutch (because I'm 6'7" tall and 330lb). The issue is that SAFETY becomes an issue because at 280mm, the steering wheel is VERY small (like the size of a go-kart wheel). I would like to find something that will push the steering wheel out further, and then get a wheel that is "dished" so it will be even closer to me. Any ideas here? I know a quick release will give me a little more room, but I'm looking for just a little extra room. A local guy is a NRG supplier and has offered me a few suggestions like a "hub extension" of 2", plus the removable hub. Would this even be safe? Thanks in advance.
