Message they give you, appears to be correct - "79 trim". Only problem is that you would need to know the major diameter of the wheel to verify.

The turbo that contains the turbine I have used is an OEM part within the Nissan Pulsar Turbo, which was only sold overseas - one of the contributing aspects to the difficulty of obtaining the parts. Garrett is a large world-wide corporation and they do not stock parts for every turbo component they have ever built in the same quantities for every distribution point around the world. In fact, the last set of these turbines I ordered last year took 5 weeks to get to me - they came from somewhere in Europe, after some footage of red-tape in the process...

They are a journal-bearing (floating-bush) configuration. They do not come with a 360-degree thrust bearing group (which I replaced) nor do they come with a gapless turbine shaft seal (which I also replaced). Additionally, Garrett never produced a 4-bolt turbine housing with a .63 A/R geometry that is machined for this turbine. This meant that in order to use the GTiR Pulsar turbo cartridge, you had to machine a 4-bolt .63 A/R housing to fit this wheel. And adding one more to that stack, the comp wheel that cartridge uses is only a 60-trim wheel, which had to be replaced with the 62-trim alternative.

I built all of the tooling required to pull this off. I even built my own rotor balancing rig. It is a costly and time consuming turbo set to build. What I was charging for them was only a few bucks short of a blue-light special, LOL. I enjoyed building them for the few people I made sets for though.
