That being said, which would provide the best straight line traction? 1. 285/35/18 with rolled/cut fender (to prevent outer rubbing) 2. 275/35/18 - narrower tread to prevent rubbing 3. 285/35/18 - thinner sidewall to prevent rubbing I dont mind cutting/rubbing if it is the best performance option. I'm sure the handling on all the choices will be reasonably similar... however i'm willing to sacrifice having a bit more understeer in favor of better straight line traction caused by larger stagger
