Message	Have you looked at an oem splash shield recently? Even with the best of installs there is daylight all over the place which is my point. I cut my splash shields to fit the aluminum shield and again created yet another path of air flow. I am not saying that the air doesnt need ventilation and a pathway. I am just saying that the pathways available are adequate. There is no need to over-design or over-engineer something that 99.995% of Z owners will never care about because lets be honest, this is a "care" thing, not a performance thing.
