| I'm building a house w/ an extended 3-stall garage for my ongoing Z project and wanted to get the thoughts from you guys on anything I should keep in mind or tell my builder now so that I'll have a sweet garage for working in. The garage will be unfinished but I've got to get it ready to work on the Z through the winter. Some thoughts so far: - Run electrical in metal conduit and boxes outside of the drywall just in case there's ever any issues or electrical fires. (suggested by my realtor) - lights suspended below the garage door so that I can work at night with the garage doors open without blocking half of my light. - floor drain - was told I can't do it because of city regulations. - slop sink and/or faucet in garage. Do you have any other ideas that I should keep in mind? I'm not looking for anything too crazy expensive right now (footings for a lift, etc.) but I don't want to paint myself into a corner.
