Finally installed my earls oil cooler from my TT. Cleaned it up a bit and with some major brainstorming, I came up with this idea for a clean install.
The main harness coming in from under the headlight is the 4 big connectors directly behind PS headlight. I decided to reroute them and again after much thinking, figured I shouldn't have to cut & extend anything. Per woody's recirc writeup, I did cut away with my carbide bits to make more room for the IC pipes as well as the alternator/trans harness which has to attach to the 4 connectors. All connected but still need to tape & zip tie some more. Had to squeeze the harness under the oil cooler pipes as going on top of them would be a tighter fit for the IC piping. Decided on relocating the main fuse block... but none of that under the headlight nonsense where you have to tear apart the front of the car to change a damn fuse. After numbering everything on both sides of the cut, my friend recommended I try and find a body harness so my connections will be factory instead of trying to remember what was what color & gauge. The fuse block is pretty much where it will be mounted but is rough mounted right now so I can run the wire along the side of the headlight and giving myself an extra foot or so from the run.
