Why not use a pull-rod setup on the rear (like the front) to get the weight of the spring/shock below the axle line? If at all possible (usually dictated by steering knuckle/toe-link attachment points) try to position the brake calipers towards the center of the car and as low as possible. I'm sure you guys are well aware but mass-centralization is very important for handling especially when the pieces account for such a large percentage of the package with a vehicle this lightweight.
