Message	I have bothered Woody enough(Thanks Tim) about this so I thought I'd ask the masses. How the heck do you get the dial gauge on the top of the lifter? Am I correct in thinking that this small corner of the lifter is my only option? I can't get the gauge on it in a parallel to the valve fashion but maybe if I extend it with a thin rigid piece of wire like a coat hanger? And for fun:
