Hey Guys! So I haven't been posting that much lately.. been caught up with school and other things. Anyway, I am still alive and changing up my Z a bit with this new addition: TwinZ Rear Spoiler! --- Since the first time I saw it in person (I am from Peru, so I'm lucky!) I fell in love with it. The wing is so different from the stock 90-93. The lines are smoother, sleeker, and adds "modern" to the rear of the Z. It's definitely the perfect wing for me. Don't get me wrong, I thought the OEM wing was the best "clean" looking .. but to be honest.. it looked kinda boxy, square-ish and just outdated. Definitely very happy with the fit and quality of the TwinZ spoiler. Although I also like the CSL wing, I just love keeping my Z as stock looking as possible, that is why I went with the TwinZ Wing.. I couldn't be happier! --- Installation: Basically, I took off the center plastic cover on the trunk, and took off a couple bolts... THAT's IT! then I masked the outside part (by the rear window) and with an exacto knife, cut thru the old double sided tape holding the wing. After that, I just pulled the wing "upwards" and the clips come off. Most of my clips broke, because the wing was just too damn old! After taking off the original wing, I drilled a small hole in the TwinZ, to pass through the LED 3rd taillight cable. I then attached the 3rd light with 4 random screws I found at home lol. I cleaned the trunk, the wing and applied a polyuthere based glue, DOW-428. (I have several sticks, if anyone wants some).**DO NOT FORGET TO COVER THE HOLES ON THE TRUNK!!!** Otherwise you will probably deal with odors creeping thru to the cabin. I did, But it was an easy fix, I used some 3m weathering strip to seal any holes under the trunk. Wing fits PERFECTLY. The glue gives you some flexibility, to move around the wing a bit, and center it where you want it. After I was happy with the position, I just used 3M's blue tape to tape the wing down while the glue dried. Take in mind that the TwinZ wing is at least ONE THIRD lighter that the OEM wing. I was so happy to see my hatch open up so fast! and with no effort! (don't have to buy new struts anymore). -- Here is some pictures I took off her, after a carwash. More pics to come, this is just an "initial impression" .. Im very happy with this product!
-Cesar * Yes, I know i need to re-drill some holes in the bumper to center that license plate!
