Message it wont do anything more for you than just that, your motor can still go BOOM....

While the J&S not only tells you, but does something about it immediately to save your ass... EGT's,etc... are nice.. but for catching a problem and potentially saving your motor, the J&S owns a EGT setup for millennium + some..

It's the mother of all motor insurance policies... Should be the 1st or very next mod on any Z or performance platform IMHO..

We see too many posts about motors blowing up, where in most cases the J&S could have caught, pulled timing from that cylinder/s, and saved your motor... Heck both setups cost about the same, 1 would be a fool to pic egt/wideband before a knock controller IMO.

I do plan on getting the EGT, etc... I feel that much more confident pushing her with this unit.. I have swapped in quite a few tunes from well known tuners an pushed them intentionally.. an you would be surprised how often knock is present at levels most wouldn't believe at such relatively low boost.., tried it on other Z's an same thing.. It really does pick up what traditional tuning may struggle to "hear"..

**Yes its dialed in for VG knock sensor, yes it works, no it's not giving false alarms from other engine noises :)
