Pump mounting - you realise the pump is mounted direct to the sump right? The pulley and pump directly fit where the air con goes. I really doubt a bracket will work there is just no space. Now if you wanted to replace the power steering pump you might be able to stick the aircond there or the dry sump pump there. Maybe an aftermarket air conditioning unit or a cool suit would be easier. Putting a dry sump system in a street car is really not a realistic proposition, where do you stick the oil tank, where do you run the oil hoses. You need at least a 2 gallon oil tank - that won't fit in the engine bay. There will probably be a requirment to prime the pump which makes a street vehicle not that realistic. I have the system at home but intend to get a dummy block mocked up shortly. Will post more pictures as we go through the process, the other engine is now in the car with a standard sump so can't take any more photos of that. Will post some dyno results soon when we get the cam timing sorted. Regarding the oil cooler/oil filters - all three cars run remote oil filters and remote oil coolers. Below are some pics of the three different setups Oil coolers - Most have 25 row oil coolers with dash 10 braided hoses All oil filters except one are HP6 oil filters - the rest of the stuff I don't know the mechanics just did it using standard race car stuff. You might be able to tell from the pics. Street Car - both oil cooler and oil filter in front underneath the intakes behind radiator
Classic Race car oil cooler front behind spoiler and oil filter on the chassis rail next to where the air con would be.
GT1 Race car - oil cooler front left behind spoiler and the remote oil filter top left of engine bay (why this is so high up and such a small filter, I don't know - was done before I bought the car. When the dry sump is fitted it will be mounted near the front of the car, like the classic race car.
