| So its using the cas to sample the knock levels during what should be a combustion event by cylinder and applies some sort of correction factor to each to take in accont the distance from the sensor. Sounds like a reasonable explanation. I understand the concept of knock count decay over rpm. Same ing happens in mitsubishis of that vintage. Is there a knock counter that can be monitored ? The only way i have seen so far is to log actual timing and compare to the map to see how much timing it is retarding. Harry
