Here's a small update on mine. As you know due to lack of time (and fabricating skills) I've had Alamo Autosports in Arlington, TX finishing the welding of the turbo manifold, downpipe, exhaust, radiator plumbing, FMIC plumbing, etc. They are about finished, having to finish up the oil lines/setrab oil cooler, the radiator overflow and radiator hose routing and then cleaning everything up. (and hooking up the P/S lines they had to make...aren't hooked up at the moment) Should be finished within a few more weeks.
Once it's finished, I'll most likely be pulling the engine and welding the holes shut and repainting the engine bay (and replace shock tower nuts...that's killing me that they are white...wasn't masked off very well when the bay was painted).
If the current turbo manifold ever cracks, I'll probably break down and buy the full race one ($2400...ouch!) but it'll definitely be worth it. I've already talked my wife into it, so that's a plus.
