Message the 12v voltage combining to accelerate the problem.

I have done the 12v switch for cars 3+ years ago and they are still going on old style injectors.

I have also found that cars which are on "battery trickle chargers" for periods before the 12v rewire had just as many problems as cars that where driven regularly.

The 95+ model year on the 300zx as well as other Nissan applications have 12v switched - there is no harm in doing this mod and if anything helps slow the deterioration from ethanol.
