And not to mention, how often do you change your oil. From my experience I have not found that removing the PCV system in any way detriments the longevity of the engine. Engine failures in the VG most commonly occur with the rod bearings and they fail just as often in cars with PCV systems as they do with engines that dont have them. I would even venture to say that it is less likely to damage the rod bearings without the PCV system for the simple fact you aren't introducing oil into the combustion chamber, thereby reducing the chance of bearing-beating detonation.
