The reason the pressure drop increases in that calculator as inlet pressure increases is because it is taking the additional volume flow into account, which ultimately is the reason for the pressure drop to begin with. As flow increases, gas velocity increases, and friction increases. What you need to take into consideration is that when looking at the flow through the intercooler at, say, 4000RPM, you have a fixed volume of air moving through the system, and it is not dependent on boost pressure at all. With a fixed volume of air moving through the intercooler there will be very little difference in pressure drop due to the boost pressure as this only affects the density of the air. The increase in density will affect flow but if I am not mistaken, this effect will be very small.
