Message	as even as possible all the way in. Once it is lined up good and the jack it tilted just right, it doesnt resist at all. The bolts just help keep it stable while you work on getting that angle just right. Worked for me when I had to do it alone, but I did learn my lesson as the first time I damaged a bushing.
