Message	Hopefully you have the $80 tranny jack from Harbor Freight or something similar. If so, just slide the tranny back out and rotate the splines on it ever so slightly. Try punching it back in. If it doesn't work, do it again. It took us almost 7 hours to get it one time. After that, we bought the Harbor Freight jack and now it usually takes about 10 mins. It's deceiving though because it will get very close (within an inch or less) of mounting flush, but it will not go all the way. The splines on the tranny are not lining up properly when that happens.
