Message it won't make a difference. for ex:

ambient at filter end, -1bar at turbo end
is the same as
1 bar at filter end, ambient at turbo end

as long as the difference in pressure across the system is the same it will flow the same. and yes I know that vacuum isn't measured in bar, it's for the sake of simplicity.
