the 350Z's 6th gear is 0.794:1, the 300ZX's 5th gear is 0.750:1. This means that, at a given speed in the top gear, you will be at a lower rpm with a 300ZX transmission... consequently, you'll get better gas mileage and have a higher top speed. Waste of a modification.
