We are producing some new pipes to go with 2.5" intercooler pipe kits. The first 2.5" pipe kits that were available for front mount and side mount intercoolers came with all new pipes except the turbo outlets. The kits came with couplers that made a quick change from 2 inch to 2.5 inch coming off the stock turbo outlet pipe. The newer 2.5" intercooler pipe kits come with the turbo outlets, but they are full 2.5" and still use a coupler for the big jump in size coming off the turbo. Air can not expand as quickly as the couplers expand and making a quick change introduces turbulance. When I wanted to convert to 2.5" intercoolers and pipes on my own car I contacted Tom at TDM works and talked with him about making me some turbo outlet pipes that slowly expanded and Tom was very helpful and made me a custom set the way I asked. TDM has made a number of sets for us that were made by rolling sheet aluminum and welding a seam at the bottom and making them in 3 pieces. We now have are own Expansion turbo outlet pipes that are press tapered.
