Subject	1994 300ZX NA original tire dimensions?

Message	When I purchased by 300ZX in 1994, I seam to remember the tires looking wider than the current tires installed which are 225/50R16. Does anyone know the original tire dimensions for the 1994 300ZX non-turbo? Also, can wider tires be installed on the OEM rims, or would I have to change the rims? Thanks.
