You can throw a couple more psi of boost down with the meth/water.. but I wouldn't rely on it as a "race gas" replacement.

I personally would only use the meth/water as a safety buffer. If you had some EGT probes (I would do one for each bank, tapping into the collector on the exhaust manifolds. Using a gauge with a peak/hold/warning is nice, so if you are doing continuous higher boost runs, you can quickly drop the EGT's by utilizing the meth/water.

I would be weary if the EGT's reach above 900^C.

That is how *I personally* would use the meth/water injection, purely as a safety feature, rather than a "horsepower/performance gain".

Depending on how you have the setup installed, via Hobbs pressure activated switch or just an on/off setup.

I have mine via Hobbs pressure switch so the water/meth will gradually inject the meth/water as the boost increases. Starting at around 9-10psi.

For example, I would use this if I have done several drag racing passes and my EGT's and engine temps have climbed up and I wanted to "cool" the combustion chambers down before my next run.
