Message	I've never seen an issue with mounting an oil cooler in various positions. When I raced circle track we mounted them flat to the underside of the sheet metal interior and used a duct to force air through. Mounting it with the fittings down (upside down) or on it's side should not make any difference in performance, so long as it's getting proper airflow.
