tight, but my lines were off for a long time, and I had every intention of replacing so any that I had to wrestle with I simply cut off. I should preface that I bought them after a MAJOR fuel leak at the rear of my rails from the CZP hardline kit, and reading up on how bad an idea it was to use braided line with conventional wormgear clamps. I was very paranoid about fuel leaks. So when I went to check them out for myself prior to ordering the expensive OEM lines, I didnt really understand why you felt the way you did about the lines once I laid hands on a set at the AutoZone or wherever it was I got them from. Apart from being a bit flattened from the way they are wound on the spool, I wouldnt characterize them as "flimsy" in my opinion. I imagine the OEM lines are formed to begin with and after a decade or two of being in that hot engine bay they take on a "harder" feel than the generic lines which are cut to length and pliable for whatever application. Maybe that's why you werent satifsied with their feel? Or maybe Goodyear has updated/changed their product? Either way, they were rated sufficiently for our needs (rating esacpes me atm) so I didnt see a potential for any issues, unless Goodyear just flat lies. I did buy all new OEM clamps though, just to be sure.
