So remember what happened, the NA motor has a weak wrist pin, and running 14 PSI of boost at the track exploded my motor spectacularly. Block was toast, crank, girdle, heads, everything was seriously horked but the exhaust headers and turbos thank god (a pair of very low mile OEM manual transmission turbos that I'd found for the inital turbo conversion). In rebuilding we (Michael Smith of MWS Motorsports and I) took a spare NA block, used Eagle rods and Weisco 10.5-1 forged pistons with VERY stout wrist pins. We also got a very nice pair of low mile heads and did some minor port matching work on it, and built it all back up again. I run 8psi on pump gas without problem. 14.5psi I can do either on race gas or with 91 octane and the MWS alcohol injection system.
