Message	I think the turbo timer will vary the count down time depending on the speed and time you drive at that speed. So if you dont use it, it will just count down to what ever set time you have it programmed for. At least that is how mine works. Could be different depending on the brand, etc. Basically it shouldn't make it "not" work if you don't hook it up.
