Subject	Can you mix synthetic and conventional motor oil?

Message	I have this nagging feeling that if you ever used a conventional oil it's hard to completely eliminate any remnants of it, making it the "weakest link", so that if you were banking on the added capability of the synthetic oil you might inadvertantly be put your engine in jeopardy.
