Message	brands of tires over the years (not all on the Z, but on a wide variety of generally performance-oriented cars), and the Sumitomos currently on my Z compare favorably to the Perrellis, Yokohamas, Michelins, GoodYears, Dunlops, etc. I've owned in the past. Dollar for dollar, I consider them among the best tires I've tried. Granted, tire technology continues to advance, so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison (never mind the fact that some of my cars have been a lot lighter or a lot heavier than the Z). But I'd happily buy another set of Sumitomos...
