Message	are alarms that do this safely. My Clifford has had this feature for about 5+ years now. It is IMPOSSIBLE to arm the remote start and have the car in gear.... unless of course you're an idiot and are sitting in the car, arm the remote start, let the car turn off, put it in gear, then remote start the car. You HAVE to have the car in neutral, running, then push the key combo on the remote, step out of the car, and arm it.
