tune. You can make a car produce pretty sick numbers on the dyno but you wouldn't want to put the car on the road under the kind of load the engine will see when it is pushing a 3600# car. Realistically it will be pushing the limits to make that kind of power without upgraded manifolds and exhaust - it will do it no doubt, but to achieve it will put the tune really close to the breaking point. A reasonable amount of "buffering" in the tune needs to be implemented which means a little more fuel, a little less timing, and consequently, a little less power.
