Well, for those following my RB26 progress, I'm planning on dropping the engine in for a "test fit" this weekend or next and then I have to pull it back out (after seeing where the motor mounts need to go) to weld the motor mount brackets to the frame rails, THEN put it all back in. Why do I do this, you may ask?
Since this swap uses the Z32 transmission mated to the RB26DETT AWD bellhousing (amazing that it fits, right?), I am using the stock Z32 trans mount, driveshaft, etc. so once I bolt the transmission into place, that determines where the motor mounts will go, and it is kinda tough to weld with the engine in the engine bay. :) That being said, other than the engine and turbo, these are probably some of the most expensive parts of my swap:
**Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 (RB26DETT) Apexi Power-FC D-jetro (eliminates the two stock MAFS) standalone w/harness and two MAP sensors ** Tial 46mm wastegate (0.9bar) ** Power FC Tunerpro software w/cable (and a used laptop running windows XP) That's damn near all of the rest of the parts save and except AN fittings, fuel lines, etc...
I'm thinking probably a few more months until she fires up. It's been slow going because I'm doing this entire swap WITHOUT going into any type of debt (no credit cards) so I'm paying cash for everything which is quite a relief when I'm finished because I'll have zero debt and a badass RB26DETT in my Z. :) A few pics:

Almost ready to go in the car:
Refresher for those not following:
You can see the "modified" front crossmember and new front chromoly sway bar (made by a sprint car shop for Speed & Sound STL). The sway bar becomes the lowest point on the car instead of the oil pan.
