I found this stripped out 90tt z from a member from here, the z has complete engine, trannny, suspension and thats it. I tried to check the compression on it and it just clicks but wont crank, most likely because its been sitting for 2 years; i tried to spin the turbos but im a noob on TTs that i coulndt even get to them but the outlet where it meets the downpipes one of them has oil and the other is clean, after messing with the pipes we found traces of oil coming down from the 3/8 hose connected to the bottom intake pipe that goes to the turbo, im not sure if thats where the oil originated from. to make my question easier i want to know if its still worth it, the price is right but the faqt that i cant test the engine out kind of worries me a lot! i was expecting to have money aside for the 120k service all just swap it stock but now that i see that a turbo might be bad i dont know how much the whole thing will go up to, any advice? i wont say who the member is cus i dont want this deal to go down in flames but hes a cool guy and if you read this lower the price! just kidding its still good. thank you all.
